This post covers two May, 2020 visits to Sicily Island Hills (specifically, the southern part of the JC "Sonny" Gilbert WMA). Below are habitat shots, then the lists for birds and some other groups.

| Rock Falls Trail upstream from Rock Falls - 5/27/20 -- Notice the Sweetleaf growing along the trail (there's a lot of it in these woods). I looked for King's Hairstreak butterflies here, but found none (Sweetleaf is their host plant, and this is during their May-June flight season). |
