After a pretty eventful April of birding and butterfly watching on Catahoula National Wildlife Refuge, I really dropped the ball by not visiting the refuge during May (well, except for one short visit to Willow Lake Unit when I was passing by). Those later couple of weeks of spring migration (first couple of weeks of May) can be some of the best birding on the refuge, so goodness only knows what I missed. But, I did get out the the refuge a few times over the summer. Below are bird lists for June, July, and August visits to Catahoula NWR, then lists for other wildlife.
